Israeli police remove Fatah banners in East Jerusalem neighborhoods

 

JERUSALEM, Wednesday, January 01, 2020 (WAFA) – The Israeli police removed today several banners of Fatah movement hung on poles in different neighborhoods of occupied East Jerusalem, reported activists.

They said the police removed banners from poles in Silwan, al-Tur and Issawiyeh.

The banners were hung as part of Fatah’s celebration of 55 years for its launch. Israel does not allow any political Palestinian activity in the occupied section of the city despite signed agreements allowing such activities.
