RAMALLAH, October 11, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, stole olive crops from Palestinian-owned land in the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on Sunday, as attacks on Palestinian farmers and olive harvesters continue to escalate across the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that a group of colonists infiltrated agricultural land in the village’s eastern plain area and stole harvested olives under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
The village was also subjected to repeated attacks by Israeli colonists on Saturday, during which olive crops were stolen and several trees were damaged, as part of a series of assaults reported in recent days.
Since the beginning of the olive harvest season, Palestinian communities across the West Bank have witnessed an escalation in colonist attacks targeting farmers and their agricultural produce.
According to monitoring and documentation data from the Wall and Colonization Resistance Commission, 18 incidents of colonist attacks were recorded from Saturday morning across the governorates of Ramallah and al-Bireh, Nablus, Salfit, Qalqilya, Hebron, Jericho, Jerusalem and Tulkarm.
The reported incidents included attacks on olive pickers, forcing farmers to leave their land, physical assaults, the use of pepper spray, the detention of citizens, and the theft of agricultural crops, vehicles and harvesting equipment.
