RAMALLAH, October 10, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, raided the village of Deir Jarir on Saturday evening and grazed their sheep near Palestinian homes at the entrance to the village.

Eid Hammad, head of the Deir Jarir village council, told WAFA that colonists broke into the village through its main entrance and grazed their flocks among citizens’ homes.

Local citizens confronted the colonists, prompting Israeli occupation forces to raid the area. No injuries or detentions were reported.

Hammad added that occupation forces completely closed the village entrance and prevented Palestinian vehicles from approaching.

Deir Jarir has been subjected to repeated attacks by Israeli colonists, alongside daily incursions by occupation forces and recurring closures of its entrance, restricting residents’ movement and access to the village.
