Nine Palestinians detained from West Bank, Jerusalem

 

NABLUS, Thursday, May 09, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained yesterday and early today at least nine Palestinians from various parts of the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Four Palestinians were rounded up in Urif village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus. Their homes were ransacked during the raid that went on for several houses.

Also in the northern West Bank, Israeli soldiers manning a checkpoint near Yaabad town in the Jenin district detained a Palestinian identified as a resident of Bir al-Basha village, southwest of Jenin, as he attempted to cross the checkpoint.

Meanwhile, Israeli police rounded up at least four Palestinians from occupied East Jerusalem.
