HEBRON, September 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists set fire today, Thursday, to a vehicle belonging to a local resident in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Activist Osama Makhamreh told WAFA that a group of armed colonists infiltrated the vicinity of the home of Mahmoud Abdul-Muhsin Rashid in the hamlet of Haribat al-Nabi, Masafer Yatta, and set fire to his private vehicle, causing it to burn completely.

For years, Masafer Yatta has been subjected to repeated attacks by occupation forces and colonists—including the demolition of homes and structures, land seizures, the uprooting of trees, and assaults on residents and their property—amidst plans aimed at displacing Palestinian communities from the area, which faces escalating threats due to colonial expansion and land appropriation.
