JERUSALEM, September 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Extremist rabbi Yehuda Glick led a group of colonists in storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque today, Thursday, under heavy security provided by the Israeli occupation police.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that dozens of colonists entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in separate groups, conducted provocative tours of its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals.
These incursions are part of ongoing attacks by colonists against the Al-Aqsa Mosque—carried out under the protection of occupation forces—in an attempt to impose new realities and alter the site's established historical and legal status, ultimately aiming to cement control over it and enforce its temporal and spatial division.
