DEIR AL-BALAH, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 (WAFA) - A Palestinian young man succumbed Monday evening of wounds he had sustained from Israeli gunfire earlier this month to the east of al-Bureij refugee camp in the central besieged Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondent reported medical sources confirming that Musa Mohammad Musa, 23, a resident of the central Gaza Strip town of Deir al-Balah, succumbed to his injuries he sustained after being shot by Israeli forces during a protest to the east of al-Breij on March 1st.
Musa was the second Palestinian to succumb to his wounds during the last few days.
Bassam Sami Safi, 22, died of wounds he sustained on February 22 from Israeli gunfire east of Khan Younes in the southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinians have been organizing weekly rallies since March 30 last year, also known as the Great March of Return protests, calling on Israel to end its almost 12-year-old blockade on Gaza.
