GAZA, Saturday, March 09, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli warplanes attacked early today several locations throughout the besieged Gaza Strip causing damage to property but no human casualties, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said the warplanes attacked targets northwest and southeast of Gaza City in the north of the Gaza Strip causing heavy damage and deep holes in the farming land as well as damage to nearby houses and property.

Warplanes also attacked targets west of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip, but again causing heavy damage to the targeted areas and nearby homes but no casualties.

Israel said the attacks came after a rocket was fired from Gaza into southern Israel without causing any damage or injuries and for flying incendiary balloons into Israeli areas that have caused fire in fields.

Palestinians said the rocket was fired in retaliation for the Israeli army killing of a 23-year-old man during the border March of Return protests and injury of dozens others, including several who were reported in serious condition.
