RAMALLAH, Tuesday, March 05, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Tuesday is partially cloudy and relatively cold in daytime and cold in nighttime with a slight rise of temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Sporadic rains, possibly torrential, along with thunderstorms and occasional hail are expected on most districts. Wind in daytime is northeasterly to northwesterly and moderate, whereas it is set to be northwesterly and light to moderate in nighttime. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 13°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah, a high of 12°C and a low of 4°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 11°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Wednesday’s weather is partially cloudy and relatively cold in daytime and cold in nighttime with steady temperature and a slight chance of sporadic light rains on some districts.
PMD expects Thursday’s temperature to remain steady with partially cloudy and relatively cold conditions in daytime and cold conditions in nighttime.
Friday’s temperature is set to rise with partially cloudy to clear and mild in daytime, except for mountainous districts where it is set to be relatively cold, and cold in nighttime.
PMD warns people against low visibility due to fog formation, floods in low areas and slippery roads.
