JERUSALEM, Monday, March 04, 2019 (WAFA) – In part of its campaign against Palestinian officials and activists in occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli police raided today the home of the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Adnan Husseini, and handed him a summons to appear at the police station for interrogation.
Israel recently detained, summoned and interrogated dozens of Palestinians key figures in Jerusalem in a bid to silence any anti-Israeli occupation voice in the city, particularly calls to reopen Bab al-Rahma area inside Al-Aqsa Mosque compound for Muslim worship.
They included senior city representatives and religious figures, many also barred from entering the Muslim holy compound for several weeks or months.
