RAMALLAH, Monday, March 04, 2019 (WAFA) – Partially cloudy to cloudy skies and cold conditions with slight drop in temperature and rain are expected on most areas today, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is southwesterly to westerly, moderate to active and sea waves are medium to high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 11°C and a low of 4°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 11°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Heavy rain, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms, is expected for Tuesday together with a slight rise in temperature.

A little chance of scattered rain is likely on Wednesday and Thursday with no significant change in temperature with partially cloudy skies and cold to very cold conditions.

PMD warns people against gusty winds, floods in low areas and valleys, low visibility due to fog formation and slippery roads.
