BAGHDAD, Sunday, March 03, 2019 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas Sunday arrived in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, on an official visit, where he is scheduled to meet with his Iraqi counterpart to discuss the current political situation.
President Abbas is set to meet with Iraqi President and Prime Minister, Barham Saleh, and Adel Abdul Mahdi, respectively to discuss the current political situation, particularly dangers facing the Palestinian cause, as well as the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to promote them in all fields.
The president is accompanied by the head of the General Intelligence Majed Faraj, Abbas’s Economic Affairs Adviser, Mohammad Mustafa, and Abbas‘s diplomatic adviser Majdi al-Khalidi, as well as Yasser Abbas.
