RAMALLAH, Saturday, March 02, 2019 (WAFA) – Very cold conditions and rain, thunderstorms and hail are expected today on most areas, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is southwesterly to westerly, moderate to active with occasional strong gusts and sea waves are medium to high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 9°C and a low of 4°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 11°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Partially cloudy skies are expected for Sunday with a rise in temperature, which drops again on Monday with chance of rain on most districts.

A rise in temperature is expected for Tuesday yet very cold conditions continue to prevail with rain expected on most areas that could be heavy at times.

PMD warns people against gusty winds, floods in low areas and valleys, low visibility due to fog formation and slippery roads.
