RAMALLAH, Friday, March 01, 2019 (WAFA) – Partially cloudy and mainly chilly conditions are expected for Friday with a slight rise of temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Scattered rains are set to fall on various districts, with chances of rainfall diminishing during the afternoon and evening hours. Wind is westerly to southwesterly and moderate to active. Sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah, a high of 9°C and a low of 4°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 11°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
PMD expects partially cloudy and mainly chilly conditions for Saturday. Scattered rain showers, which could be torrential, are expected to fall on most districts along with thunderstorms and occasional hail.
Sunday’s temperature is set to rise with partially cloudy to clear and relatively cold conditions in daytime and cold conditions in nighttime.
Monday’s temperature is expected to slightly drop with partially cloudy and mainly cold conditions in daytime and very cold conditions in nighttime. A chance of scattered rainfall is expected on some districts, especially the northern.
PMD warns people against gusty winds, floods in low areas and valleys, low visibility due to fog formation and slippery roads.
