RAMALLAH, Saturday, February 23, 2019 (WAFA) – A slight rise in temperature is expected for today with partially cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain on some areas, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate during the day turns northwesterly to northeasterly at night and very cold while sea waves remain low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 13°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Another rise in temperature is expected for Sunday to become 4°C above the seasonal average, which will even reach 8°C above average on Monday, said the PMD.
However, a noticeable drop in temperature is expected for Tuesday with strong wind and high waves.
