Eight Palestinians detained from West Bank

 

RAMALLAH, Monday, February 18, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained overnight eight Palestinians in multiple raids across the West Bank, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) in a statement.

Israeli military raided Arraba town, south of Jenin, where soldiers detained a Palestinian.

Soldiers also detained two other Palestinians during a similar raid in the neighboring town of Qabatia.

PPS confirmed that a fourth Palestinian was detained from the northern West Bank district. The man was kidnapped by undercover Israeli forces, known as Musta‘ribeen, who ambushed him at a road leading to the Arab-American University.

Meanwhile, PPS confirmed that two Palestinians were rounded up from Kobar village, northwest of Ramallah.

In Tubas district in the northern Jordan Valley, a similar military raid was carried out in Aqaba town, north of Tubas, resulting in the detention of a Palestinian.

Soldiers also detained a Palestinian during a predawn raid in Nablus district.
