Israeli army raids Jenin, confiscates private surveillance cameras

JENIN, January 15, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli army Monday confiscated private surveillance cameras and raided several homes and shops in the city of Jenin, said local sources.

According to owners and local residents, Israeli soldiers raided the city, including shops and homes and confiscated private surveillance cameras, without providing a clear reason.

The military also raided the town of Qabatya and the village of Marka, south of Jenin and confiscated more privately used cameras.

The northern cities of the West Bank have been increasingly subjected to extensive military campaigns where Israeli troops raid cities and towns, arrest Palestinian youth and confiscate surveillance cameras since the shooting of an Israeli settler near the city of Nablus.
