RAMALLAH, June 4, 2025 (WAFA) – The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission has documented the seizure of 41 dunums of Palestinian-owned land in Ramallah Governorate by Israeli authorities at the beginning of this month, through military orders referred to as “land appropriation orders,” under the pretext of security and military purposes.
The targeted villages include Shibteen, Deir ‘Ammar, Deir Qaddis, Deir Ghassaneh, and Al-Lubban.
According to the Commission’s data, since the beginning of 2025, Israeli authorities have issued a total of 19 military orders to appropriate Palestinian land. Six of these orders have been used to establish buffer zones around illegal colonies.
Israel has recently intensified the issuance of such orders in an attempt to impose new facts on the ground, including the construction of military towers, roads designated for army and colonial use, and additional buffer zones surrounding colonies.
These military orders serve the interests of colonists and colonial expansion at the expense of Palestinians’ land, severely limiting Palestinians’ ability to lead normal lives.
