Several civilians killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes on different areas in Gaza

RAMALLAH, June 4, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Wednesday as Israeli forces continued their airstrikes on various areas across the Gaza Strip.

According to medical sources cited by WAFA correspondents, at least one person was killed and several others injured when Israeli warplanes targeted a group of civilians in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

Four more Palestinians were confirmed dead, and additional injuries reported, following airstrikes on a residential building belonging to the Shaat family and the Al-Sikka area in central Khan Younis, southern Gaza.

Rescue teams also recovered the bodies of two members of the Qdeih family who were killed in a previous strike near Al-Awda Schools in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis.

Another Palestinian was killed and several more wounded after Israeli warplanes targeted a civilian gathering in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

In the northern part of the strip, drone aircraft dropped bombs near Rafai and Arkan shelter centers in Jabalia.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks on Gaza have killed at least 54,607 Palestinians, the majority of them children and women, and injured 125,341 others, according to medical sources. Hundreds of  victims remain trapped under the rubble or in areas inaccessible to rescue teams.
