JERUSALEM, January 15, 2018 (WAFA) – Four members of Abu Sbaih family were ordered on Monday to stay away from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Kufr Aqab; the hometown of Misbah Abu Sbeih; perpetrator of Jerusalem attack who was killed by Israeli forces in 2016, while six others were remanded in custody until court hearing.
The 10 Palestinians were returning home to Jerusalem on Sunday after picking up Sbeih Abu Sbeih, Misbah’s son, who was released from Ramon prison after completing an 8-month term, when Israeli police stopped the bus they were in at a checkpoint outside the city and detained all 10, including the released prisoner.
Misbah, 39, opened fire and killed two Israelis and injured six other on October 9, 2016, before he was chased down and fatally shot.
Police later released four members of the Abu Sbeih family on condition of staying away from Kufr Aqab for 15 days, while the remaining six, including Sbaih and Misbah’s brother Jaber, who was roughed up during detention, were kept in custody until a court hearing.
