ZURICH, December 21, 2017 (WAFA) – The latest FIFA World Ranking list published on Thursday showed Palestine moving up two notches to occupy number 80 position, which was described to be the best ranking in the history of Palestinian football.

Palestine was 82 in the previous ranking beating Israel which stayed at the 98 position in the latest ranking.

Germany continued to occupy the top position in the ranking, followed by Brazil, then Portugal, Argentina and Belgium in number 5.

Tunisia occupied number 27 position making it the top Arab country in the World Ranking, followed by Egypt at number 31, Morocco 40, Algeria 58 after moving up six positions, and then Saudi Arabia at 63.
