GAZA, June 15, 2026 (WAFA) – At least 26 Palestinians have been killed since dawn today in a series of Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, the majority of them civilians who were desperately waiting for humanitarian aid.

In the latest escalation, four people were killed and several others injured this afternoon when Israeli warplanes targeted a gathering of civilians in the Jorat Al-Lout area of Khan Younis, southern Gaza, according to local sources.

Earlier in the day, several people were also injured in Jabalia, in northern Gaza, after an Israeli drone strike hit the area, medical sources confirmed.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 55,297 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 128,426 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
