Tens of thousands rally in The Hague to demand end to genocide in Gaza

THE HAGUE, June 15, 2025 (WAFA) – Tens of thousands demonstrated in The Hague, urging the Dutch government to take stronger action to put an end to the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

The protest, organized by human rights groups including Amnesty International and Oxfam, marched toward the International Court of Justice, declaring that the situation in Gaza constitutes a “red line.”

Organizers estimated that around 150,000 people took part in the demonstration, all dressed in red to symbolize the red line that must not be crossed.

Waving Palestinian flags, protesters chanted “Stop the genocide,” and held signs reading “Don’t turn a blind eye—act now,” and “Stay silent when children sleep, not when they are being killed.”

In their call to action, protesters emphasized that the people of Gaza cannot wait and stressed that the Netherlands must do everything within its power to stop the Israeli genocide.
