HEBRON, July 22, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers Saturday opened fire at a Palestinian vehicle in Hebron, in the south of the West Bank, and detained a woman in Bani Naim, east of the city, according to local and Palestinian security sources.

Local sources and witnesses told WAFA that undercover soldiers opened fire at a vehicle in the southern parts of the city.

They said the driver was able to get away unharmed.

Army units combed the area after the incident looking for the car and the driver.

Meanwhile in a separate incident, soldiers detained Safa Abdullah Manasreh, 26, at a flying checkpoint set up at the southern entrance to Bani Naim, according to Palestinian security sources..

Reason for the detention of Manasreh, who was taken away in an army jeep, was not immediately known.
