BETHLEHEM, July 7, 2017 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man Friday dawn succumbed to his wounds reportedly after being run-over by an Israeli settler west of Bethlehem city, said security sources and a local activist.
Coordinator of al-Khader Popular Committee’s Ahmad Salah identified the Palestinian as Omar Issa, 37, a resident of al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem.
Salah wrote on his Facebook page that Issa died after being run over by an Israeli settler while riding his motorcycle near the tunnels checkpoint on the Israeli bypass Road 60, which leads to the Gush Etzion settlement bloc.
Salah added Issa used to work as a tea and coffee vendor at the intersection to make a living.
Issa was evacuated by Israeli paramedics to an Israeli hospital in Jerusalem where he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
