PARIS, July 6, 2017 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas Thursday held talks on the second day of his official three-day visit to France with Prime Minister Edouard Phillipe and members of the Arab diplomatic corps to France.
Abbas discussed with Phillipe the latest political developments in the region, particularly on the Palestinian level and Israel’s constant violations. They also discussed bilateral relations.
President Abbas also received at his residence members of the Arab diplomatic corps to France and briefed them on the situation in Palestine and efforts to revive the peace process that will lead to the end of the Israeli occupation and the establishment of the independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Abbas arrived in France late Tuesday and met on Wednesday with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
