RAMALLAH, July 4, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday detained 27 Palestinians during wide scale raids in several areas in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, said the Palestinian Prisoner‘s Society.
It said Israeli police detained nine Palestinians from the Mount of Olives in occupied Jerusalem who apparently were involved in clashes with police the day before during a funeral.
Another Palestinian was arrested at his Jerusalem‘s Old City home.
Soldiers also detained eight Palestinians from the district of Hebron in the south of the West Bank during late night and early morning raids at their homes, including a man and his four sons.
Five, including two former prisoners, were also detained from the Tulkarem district in the north of the West Bank, two from Zbouba in the Jenin area and two from Salem in the Nablus area, said the PPS.
