RAMALLAH, June 30, 2017 (WAFA) – Weather on Friday is abundantly sunny and relatively hot in mountainous areas and extremely hot in the Jordan Valley, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Temperatures are set to slightly rise and approach five Celsius degrees above the seasonal average. Wind is northwesterly to southwesterly, light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
PMD expects hot conditions in mountainous areas and very hot conditions in the Jordan Valley on Saturday with a further slight rise in temperatures which approach six degrees Celsius above the seasonal average.
Very hot conditions are set to prevail on Sunday with a further rise in temperatures which approach about eight degrees Celsius above the seasonal average.
PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly during peak hours between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from Friday to Sunday.
