Clashes between Palestinians and soldiers in Bilin leave two injured

RAMALLAH, June 29, 2017 (WAFA) – Clashes erupted on Thursday between Palestinians and Israeli soldiers in the village of Bilin, west of Ramallah, leaving two injured, according to a local activist.

Abdullah Abu Rahmeh, from the anti-wall, anti-settlements group, said soldiers raided the village during the morning hours provoking clashes with local residents.

He said the soldiers fired tear gas canisters and rubber-coated metal bullets at the protesters hitting two teenagers in the chest and leg and many others suffered from tear gas inhalation.

The two hit by rubber bullets were transported to hospital in Ramallah for treatment.
