RAMALLAH, June 28, 2017 (WAFA) – Weather on Wednesday is abundantly sunny and relatively hot to hot in mountainous areas and very hot in the Jordan Valley, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Temperatures are set to remain about five degrees Celsius above the seasonal average. Wind is northwesterly to westerly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
PMD expects temperatures to slightly drop by one degree Celsius on Thursday with plentifully sunny, relatively hot to hot conditions in mountainous areas and extremely hot in the Jordan Valley.
Temperatures are set to slightly rise by one degree Celsius on Friday with relatively hot to hot conditions in mountainous areas and extremely hot conditions in the Jordan Valley.
PMD expects hot and very hot conditions also to prevail in mountainous areas and the Jordan Valley respectively on Saturday with a further slight rise in temperatures which approach six degrees Celsius above the seasonal average.
PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly during peak hours between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from Wednesday to Saturday.
