RAMALLAH, June 27, 2017 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was on Tuesday injured by Israeli army fire during clashes which erupted in the village of al-Mughayer, east of Ramallah in the West Bank, after the army notified some of the village’s residents of their intention to demolish their homes.
Witnesses told WAFA that Israeli army broke into the village and handed home demolition orders to some of the village’s residents, under the pretext of building without an Israeli permit.
Army further handed an order banning entry and exit of local residents to and from the village between 6:00 PM and 1:00 AM.
Clashes erupted with local teenagers after Israeli crackdown on the village. The soldiers used rubber-coated steel rounds to disperse the angry protesters, injuring one of them. They also arrested one of the protesters.
