JERUSALEM, June 24, 2017 (WAFA) - The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Mohammad Hussein has announced that Sunday, June 25, will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
The mufti congratulated all Muslims and the Palestinian people, inside the Palestinian territory and in the Diaspora, on the occasion of Eid al-fitr, expressing hope that by the next Eid all the Palestinian wishes of freedom and independence will be achieved.
The Eid al-Fitr holiday for the public sector will conclude on Wednesday, with work resuming on Thursday.
