RAMALLAH, November 14, 2016 (WAFA) – The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine decreased during October by 0.90% compared with September, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Monday.
It said CPI decreased by 1.42% in the Gaza Strip and by 0.76% in the West Bank, while it increased by 0.12% in Jerusalem.
The change in CPI in Palestine for October 2016 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The CPI decreased by 1.67% compared with October 2015. It deceased by 3.32% in the Gaza Strip, by 1.23% in the West Bank and by 0.69% in Jerusalem.
The CPI during the first 10 months of 2016 slightly decreased by 0.04% compared with the same period of the previous year; by 1.19% in Jerusalem, and by 0.63% in the Gaza Strip, while it increased by 0.10% in the West Bank.
