TULKARM, November 9, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Wednesday tore down dozens of vender stalls outside Taybeh checkpoint that leads from the West Bank city of Tulkarm into Israel, according to witnesses.
Stall owners told WAFA that the removal of the vendors affects their economic status since that it is the only source of livelihood for their families.
They said the military did not notify them about their intention to demolish the stalls and therefore they were unable to evacuate them.
The Israeli military cited construction without permission as the pretext behind the demolition.
