NABLUS, November 9, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday shot and injured a Palestinian following an alleged stabbing attempt at the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus, according to Palestinian security sources.
They told WAFA that Israeli forces opened fire on Mohammed Jallad, 24, a resident of Tulkarem, after he allegedly attempted to stab a soldier in the area. The army said he used a screwdriver. The soldier was not hurt.
Soldiers transferred Jallad to hospital inside Israel. His medical condition remains unknown.
Sources said Jallad is a US citizen and is sick with cancer.
