JERUSALEM, November 8, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem demolished on Tuesday a residential building in al-Tur neighborhood in East Jerusalem under the pretext it was built without a permit.
Witnesses told WAFA that staff from the Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem accompanied by police raided al-Tur neighborhood before they embarked on demolishing the building, which was still under construction.
It was the third building the municipality had demolished in the occupied section of the city, all for the same reason. Municipality staff had earlier demolished a building in Wadi al-Jouz and another in Issawiyeh.
