RAMALLAH, November 1, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday expelled a Palestinian farmer and his family who were picking olives in their land in Bait Umar, a town north of Hebron, said a local activist.
Muhammad Awed, who monitors settlement activities, said Israeli forces forced the farmer, Muhammad Salibi, and his family to leave their land and would not allow them to continue with the harvest because the land was close to the Jewish Beit Ein settlement.
The soldiers seized the bags and a wooden ladder the family had used to pick the olives.
Salibi said soldiers threatened to assault them if they return to pick their olives.
