JENIN, November 1, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces raided early Tuesday the West Bank home of a Palestinian policeman who was shot dead by Israeli soldiers on Monday evening after he reportedly opened fire and injured three Israeli soldiers manning a checkpoint near Ramallah.
Local sources in Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the West Bank, said a large force raided the family home of the alleged attacker, Mohammad Abdul-Khaleq Turkman, 25, and detained his brother, Muhannad, 22.
The Israeli raid provoked clashes with local residents during which the army used teargas to disperse them.
