RAMALLAH, October 30, 2016 (WAFA) - The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for the month of September increased by 0.76% compared to August, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Sunday.
PPI for locally consumed products and exported products increased by 0.84%, and 0.02%, respectively, it said.
Prices of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply increased by 9.76%; and water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities also increased by 0.69%.
Meanwhile, prices of agriculture, forestry and fishing goods went down by 2.03%; whereas manufacturing increased by 0.29%, said the PCBS.
