UPDATE: Israeli forces detain 27 Palestinians in West Bank, Jerusalem

BETHLEHEM, October 27, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Wednesday overnight detained at least 27 Palestinians during predawn and night raids across the West Bank districts and Jerusalem, according to local and security sources.

In Bethlehem area, forces broke into the village of al-Khader, where they detained seven Palestinians. During the Israeli raid in the village, soldiers raided a house and turned it into an interrogation center to interrogate some of the villagers, before they pulled out from the village.

Israeli forces also detained four others Palestinians in other villages in Bethlehem area.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers raided the village of Azzoun, near Qalqilia, and detained five local Palestinians.

Israeli forces also reportedly detained three Palestinians from Ramallah area, two from Nablus, and one each in Jenin and Salfit districts.

Meanwhile, Israeli police detained at least four Palestinians after raiding the Jerusalem neighborhoods of Silwan, the Old City, and al-Issawiya. The four were taken to nearby interrogation centers.
