KHAN YOUNIS, October 24, 2016 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was killed on Monday after a tunnel he was working in collapsed east of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, according to witnesses and medical sources.
The Palestinian was identified as Ameer Taimeh, 21, from Khan Younis. He was taken to Nasser hospital in the city where he was pronounced dead.
Hamas’ military wing, al-Qassam Brigades, said Taimeh was one of its members and that he was killed while working in the tunnel.
