JERUSALEM, RAMALLAH, October 24, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained at least 23 Palestinians, including minors, during predawn raids in Jerusalem and several West Bank districts, Israeli police and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society said on Monday.
In Jerusalem area, Israeli police raided homes in the neighborhoods of Issawiya, Silwan, Shufat and Jabal al-Mukabir and detained 19 Palestinians, including five minors.
Israeli police claimed the detainees were suspected of rioting and throwing stones at Israeli targets in the occupied city.
In the West Bank, soldiers detained two Palestinians in Nablus area, and one each from Qalqilia and Bethlehem districts, said the society in a statement.
