RAMALLAH, October 23, 2016 (WAFA) Exports increased in August 2016 by 25.8% compared to July 2016, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
It said exports also slightly increased by 0.2% compared to August 2015 and reached $84.3 million.
Exports to Israel increased in August 2016 by 24.6% compared to July 2016 and represented 90.9% of total exports in August 2016.
At the same time, exports to other countries increased by 38.4% during the same period compared to July 2016.
Imports:
Imports increased in August 2016 by 18.0% compared to July 2016. It also increased by 3.8% compared to August, 2015 and reached USD 445.0 Million.
Imports from Israel increased by 14.7% in August 2016 compared to July 2016 and represented 57.8% of total imports in August 2016.
At the same time, imports from other countries increased by 22.8% compared to July, 2016.
