RAMALLAH, October 15, 2016 (WAFA) – FilmLab: Palestine kicks off in Ramallah on Saturday its third annual film festival, Days of Cinema, according to a press release.
More than 80 films from Palestine and the world, including 45 feature films and documentaries, 25 short films and 12 children and animation films, will be shown at different Palestinian cities during October.
The festival will open at 7:00 pm at Ramallah Cultural Palace with the Argentinian film “Our Last Tango,” Directed by: German Kral and in the presence of the film composer Luis Borda.
The film tells the life and love story of Argentina‘s two most famous tango dancers María Nieves Rego, 80, and Juan Carlos Copes, 83. They met when they were 14 and 17 and they danced together for nearly 50 years. In all those years they loved and hated each other and went through several painful separations but always got back together.
The festival will feature 21 Palestinian films most of them are short films or documentaries.
