RAMALLAH, October 13, 2016 (WAFA) – The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine increased during September by 0.10% compared with August, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Thursday.
It said CPI increased by 0.83% in Jerusalem while it decreased by 0.20% in the West Bank and by 0.14% in Gaza Strip.
CPI decreased during September by 0.68% compared with September 2015. It decreased by 1.87% in Gaza Strip and by 0.55% in the West Bank, while it increased by 0.29% in Jerusalem.
The CPI during the first Nine months of 2016 increased by 0.14% compared with the same period of the previous year. It increased by 0.25% in the West Bank while it decreased by 1.24% in Jerusalem and by 0.33% in Gaza Strip.
