JERUSALEM, October 12, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers last night fatally shot a Palestinian young man during clashes which erupted in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem, according to local sources.
WAFA correspondent said that Israeli soldiers opened live fire at Ali Atif Shuyukhi, 20, and critically injured him in his chest, before he succumbed to his wounds within minutes, as Israeli police denied the access of ambulances to the scene to provide him with first aid.
Shuyukhi had been detained in October 2014 and was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
