RAMALLAH, October 5, 2016 (WAFA) - The overall quantity of Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine reached 112.32 during August, with an increase of 14.01% compared to the previous month, Wednesday said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
PCBS said that the quantity of IPI for August rose due to the increase in the activity of mining and quarrying, the activity of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, the activity of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities, as well as in the activity of manufacturing industry by 37.72%, 35.32%, 26.00%, and by 10.97%, respectively.
