RAMALLAH, September 29, 2016 (WAFA) – An Israeli military court Thursday sentenced former Palestinian cabinet minister Wasfi Qabaha to one year imprisonment, said the minister’s family.
Qabaha, who served in the former Hamas-led government, was also fined more than $500.
His family said the former minister has health problems such as diabetes and needs medical attention.
Qabaha, a resident of Jenin, had spent 10 months in administrative detention in 2014.
