Israel detains 16 Palestinians in West Bank

JENIN, September 26, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Monday detained at least 16 Palestinians during predawn raids across the West Bank districts, according to local and security sources.

In Jenin, north of the West Bank, Israeli army broke into the city and detained six Palestinians. At least one Palestinian teenager was reportedly injured by Israeli fire during ensuing clashes in the city.

In Ramallah area, Israeli troops stormed the village of Beit Rima, where they detained four Palestinians after raiding their homes.

In Hebron, south of the West Bank, Israeli forces broke into the town of Yatta and nearby al-Arroub refugee camp, where they detained three local Palestinians.

Israeli troops also detained two Palestinians after raiding the city of Bethlehem.

Meanwhile in Jerusalem area, Israeli police broke into al-Issawiya neighborhood district and detained three Palestinians.
