RAMALLAH, September 14, 2016 (WAFA) – The Palestinian prisoner’s society (PPS) Wednesday said 50 prisoners started a hunger strike in solidarity with brothers Mohammad and Mahmoud Balboul and Malik al-Qadi who have been striking for around 70 days.
PPS said that strike will be carried out gradually in Naqab, Nafha, Ofer and Rimon prisons.
Al-Balboul brothers and al-Qadi began their hunger strikes in June 2016 to protect their administrative detention.
Al-Qadi reportedly slipped into coma days ago and is on the verge of death while al-Balboul brothers suffer from increasing pain and their health condition was described as critical.
